GUIDELINES:
• Take only what you need and donate what you can
• No registration is required to take or donate food
• All ingredients and allergens must be labeled
• Items must be labeled with an expiration date
• No items past their “Best Before” dates
• No RAW meats or seafood
• No open or partially eaten items
• No medicines, alcohol or illicit substances
• Do not donate food you would not want to eat or items you would not want to use yourself

COMMUNITY KITCHEN SHELF
Cookware & Baking Items
A partnership between Kitchen Literacy Project and Syracuse Community Fridge to empower our community through food by providing the tools, knowledge, and access needed to stay nourished. The Community Kitchen will be a shelf at the All Saints community fridge site, where anyone can take or donate cookware and baking items.
What's Accepted:
All cookware must be stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, or carbon steel
• Pots
• Pans
• Skillets
• Baking dishes
• Baking pans/sheets
• Plastic or stainless steel measuring cups
• Plastic or stainless steel measuring spoons
• Stainless steel bowls

Community fridge ettiquitte
• Please sanitize your hands before using the fridge
• Avoid unnecessary contact with food items to prevent contamination.
• Check use-by dates on food products.
• Discard out-of-date food and do not consume prepared food after seven days.
• Please put new donations toward the back of the shelves so that food gets eaten in the order it is donated.
• Please do not donate anything that you would not personally consume.
• Please label and date all packaged donations
• Please put away donations appropriately in either the fridge or pantry section
